Jul 13One of my favorite foods in the world is the potato. I love them boiled, roasted, grilled, and above all, mashed. I don’t want lumpy potatoes though. I want those creamy mashed potatoes that are smooth like velvet when they hit my tongue. The best way I have found to achieve this is by either processing them in a food mill, or by using this funky little gadget called a potato ricer. I boil my peeled potatoes and press them through the ricer, and then add whatever other ingredients I feel need to. Then I take a heaping pile of them before the rest of the family sees me… Don’t tell anyone…
